These beautiful May flowers! What a wonderful sign of spring in St. Johnsbury! After our long, snowy winter, all the local gardeners are coming back to life, raking, cleaning up and planting.
    May is a great month to explore one of St. Johnsbury's treasures, the Fairbanks Museum. Starting this month and throughout the summer, the Fairbanks has something new for everyone, whether it's your first visit or your 100th.
    Road biking is becoming a very popular pursuit in the area, thanks in part to a biking club based at the Club at Old Mill here in St. Johnsbury. It's a fun way to explore the scenic routes throughtout the Northeast Kingdom, and get some terrific exercise, too.
   We have met the owners of two brand-new businesses in St. Johnsbury -- Mill River Furniture and the Estabrook House Bed and Breakfast. Both owners shared with us their love of their adopted homes here in the St. J area.
